Unwrapping the Gifts of Joy and Beauty Through Creativity
Joy
The word itself sounds light, hopeful. But, for those of us steeped in grief, it can be elusive.
Grief
None of us like the word. It is the result of having lost someone or something that is near and dear to us. Grief is a hard taskmaster, and it wants to rob us of our joy—and it will if we let it.
But what if…
…your heart was designed with the capacity to hold both joy and grief within it?
…joy isn’t an emotion we feel, but a grace gift rooted in a relationship with the Joy-Giver Himself?
…that same Joy-Giver Himself has also given us gifts that draw out the joy that resides in us, alongside His love?
…those gifts are right in front of us, but are so clouded by the grief that we can’t see them?
…Beauty and Creativity are God’s precious grace gifts to us on ordinary days, as well as on the hard ones?
…those gifts are just waiting for us to untie their ribbons, slowly peel off the beautiful wrap, and take a peek inside?
Hi, I’m Terry. I’m so glad you are here.
While I could try to impress you with my credentials, or try to woo you into my website with grandiose promises of fame and fortune, I will do neither.
No, what I want to do here is to let you know that I am no stranger to grief. I have lived it before and am living it now.
Grief is a hard taskmaster, and it wants to rob us of our joy, and it will if we let it. But we don’t have to let it.
We can learn from it, grow in it, and by God’s Grace discover and unwrap the gifts He has for us right in the middle of our grief.
I invite you to carefully consider the questions asked above. When you’re finished, I’d love for you to grab a cup of coffee or tea, get comfy, and come on in and browse my site. You can read my story here and get to know me a little better.
Then if you are interested in exploring further how life coaching, and unwrapping the gifts found in creativity can help you give voice to your story, as you navigate your way through the complexities of grief, please contact me here to schedule a complimentary 30-minute discovery session.

What People Are Saying
"I've always been so focused on success and making something out of myself that I often lose sight of what is truly important. When I started talking with Terry, my faith in God was shaky at best. I always worried about failing, or that nothing I did was “good enough”.
When I began talking with Terry, I wasn't sure how to move forward. But with her help, I slowly started to trust God--and myself--again.
Terry has a great sense of compassion for her clients. You never feel judged for being honest, even when it isn't pretty. I think her God-given gift to understand how we (humans) can be so flawed, and yet have the ability to make a positive impact, allows her to help us help ourselves.
So, if you're struggling to make sense of what God is allowing you to go through--or why--I'd highly recommend getting in touch with Terry.”

“Since we connected just after the passing of Terry’s husband early in the pandemic, I’ve had the deep joy and privilege of having her participate in various creative circles I’ve hosted. I’ve also given myself the gift of regularly enjoying what she offers so generously through social media.
Time after time I’ve been moved by Terry’s creative expressions, her hard-won wisdom and capacity for laughter in the midst of pain and uncertainty.
She is a natural encourager, a true disciple of creativity, and an inspiration to me and many others. I’m so thankful for what she brings to the world and the service she offers to those who need support.
